PALM BEACH, Fla. — Palm Beach billionaire Jeff Greene is running for governor of Florida.

Greene, 63, has filed his intent to run for governor as a Democrat.

A real estate mogul, Greene is a former Republican who previously ran for U.S. Senate in 2010 as a Democrat.

Greene joins other Democrats Philip Levine (Miami Beach Mayor), Andrew Gillum (Tallahassee Mayor), Chris King (Orlando businessman) and Gwen Graham (ex-congresswoman) in the race to be the Democratic candidate this fall.
